JAN PARKER PASSES BATON, STEPS INTO NEW ROLE AT UNITED WAY
As the campaign for 2014/2015 closes, and we begin to set our sites on 2015/2016 , we want to recognize Jan Parker for her outstanding leadership as the chair for the last two campaigns. Her dedication and commitment to the United Way of Whitewater Valley’s mission to create lasting change, has shined through. As she passes the baton to IU East’s Dr. Ross Alexander, and with the same perseverance that brought campaign success, we are excited to welcome Jan as the United Way of Whitewater Valley Board Chair.
While we share our thanks to her, she shares a message with our community. “With the campaign coming to a close, it is the perfect time to say THANK YOU. Thank you to the 3,609 donors that stepped up to support those in need in the Whitewater Valley. Thank you to the many community organizations that year over year are committed to making the campaign a success. Thank you to the 20+ volunteers that provided their time and energy in this year’s campaign. The United Way is dependent upon each and every one of you to sustain the positive force of change. Without you, the United Way would not be possible. THANK YOU!”
Reaching out a hand to one, influencing the lives of many. Jan Parker lives it, leads it, and believes it. United Way of Whitewater Valley is fortunate to have her as our incoming Board Chair, and we are looking forward to what the year has in store.
